Thou make us hatred to our neighbors, and our enemies laugh among themselves. Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.

Turn again, we beseech thee, O God of hosts. Look down from heaven, and, behold, and visit this vine, and the stock which thy right hand planted, and the branch that thou made strong for thyself. It is burned with fire, it is cut down. They perish at the rebuke of thy countenance. read more.
Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou made strong for thyself, so shall we not go back from thee. Revive thou us, and we will call upon thy name. Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause thy face to shine, and we shall be saved.

In that day men shall look to their maker, and their eyes shall have respect for the Holy One of Israel.

They also who err in spirit shall come to understanding, and those who murmur shall receive instruction.

Turn ye to him from whom ye have deeply revolted, O sons of Israel. For in that day they shall cast away every man his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which your own hands have made to you for a sin.

In those days, and in that time, says LORD, the sons of Israel shall come, they and the sons of Judah together. They shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek LORD their God. They shall inquire concerning Zion with their faces toward it, [saying], Come ye, and join yourselves to LORD in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten. My people have been lost sheep. Their shepherds have caused them to go astray. They have turned them away on the mountains. They have gone from mountain to hill. They have forgotten their resting-place.

Afterward the sons of Israel shall return and seek LORD their God and David their king, and shall come with fear to LORD and to his goodness in the latter days.

Come, and let us return to LORD, for he has torn, and he will heal us. He has smitten, and he will bind us up. After two days he will revive us. On the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live before him. And let us know, let us follow on to know LORD. His going forth is sure as the morning, and he will come to us as the rain, as the latter rain that waters the earth.


In that day men shall cast away their idols of silver, and their idols of gold, which have been made for them to worship, to the moles and to the bats,

And all the people broke off the golden rings which were in their ears, and brought them to Aaron. And he received it at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made it a molten calf. And they said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not. They have eyes, but they see not. They have ears, but they hear not. They have noses, but they smell not. read more.

The burden of Egypt. Behold, LORD rides upon a swift cloud, and comes to Egypt. And the idols of Egypt shall tremble at his presence, and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.

Their heart is divided. Now they shall be found guilty. He will smite their altars. He will destroy their pillars.

They are vanity, a work of delusion. In the time of their visitation they shall perish.

For I will go through the land of Egypt in that night, and will smite all the first-born in the land of Egypt, both man and beast, and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments. I am LORD.

And the idols shall utterly pass away.

Thus ye shall say to them: The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, these shall perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.

Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will execute judgment upon the graven images of Babylon. And her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

Therefore, behold, the days come, says LORD, that I will execute judgment upon her graven images, and through all her land the wounded shall groan.

And he said to me, Son of man, [this is] the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, where I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel forever. And the house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neith in their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their door-post beside my door-post, and there was [but] the wall between me and them. And they have defiled my holy name by their abominations which they have committed. The Now let them put away their whoredom, and the dead bodies of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them forever.

And I will cut off thy graven images and thy pillars out of the midst of thee, and thou shall no more worship the work of thy hands.
