And they come unto thee as a people cometh, and they sit before thee as my people, and they hear thy words, but they do them not; for with their mouth they shew much love, but their heart goeth after their dishonest gain. They profess to know God, but in works deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and found worthless as to every good work.
Not every one who says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but he that does the will of my Father who is in the heavens.
Ardent lips, and a wicked heart, are as an earthen vessel overlaid with silver dross.
Children, let us not love with word, nor with tongue, but in deed and in truth.
