Inheritance » Who shall inherit the earth
Blessed the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
For evil-doers shall be cut off; but those that wait on Jehovah, they shall possess the land.
When thou criest, let them that are gathered by thee deliver thee! But a wind shall carry them all away, a breath shall take them; but he that putteth his trust in me shall inherit the land, and possess my holy mountain. And it shall be said, Cast up, cast up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling-blocks out of the way of my people. For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, and whose name is Holy: I dwell in the high and holy place, and with him that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.

But I have a few things against thee: that thou hast there those who hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balak to cast a snare before the sons of Israel, to eat of idol sacrifices and commit fornication.

And David says, Let their table be for a snare, and for a gin, and for a fall-trap, and for a recompense to them:
But see lest anywise this your right to eat itself be a stumbling-block to the weak. For if any one see thee, who hast knowledge, sitting at table in an idol-house, shall not his conscience, he being weak, be emboldened to eat the things sacrificed to the idol? and the weak one, the brother for whose sake Christ died, will perish through thy knowledge. read more.
