Work for the good of the city where I have taken you as captives. Pray to Jehovah for that city. When it prospers, you will also prosper.

Jehoiachin » Nebuchadnezzar invades his kingdom, takes him away captive to babylon
In the spring King Nebuchadnezzar sent for Jehoiakin and brought him to Babylon with the valuable utensils from Jehovah's Temple. Nebuchadnezzar made Jehoiakin's uncle Zedekiah king of Judah and Jerusalem.
