"For, behold, I will command, and I will sift the house of Israel among all the nations, as grain is sifted in a sieve, yet not the least kernel will fall on the earth.

Now there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under the sky.

My God will cast them away, because they did not listen to him; and they will be wanderers among the nations.

and have sold the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem to the sons of the Greeks, that you may remove them far from their border.

and I scattered them among the nations, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

The Jews therefore said among themselves, "Where will this man go that we won't find him? Will he go to the Dispersion among the Greeks, and teach the Greeks?

A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you; and a third part shall fall by the sword around you; and a third part I will scatter to all the winds, and will draw out a sword after them.

Behold, Yahweh makes the earth empty, makes it waste, turns it upside down, and scatters its inhabitants.

I will scatter them also among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.

But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.

Yahweh said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their bread unclean, among the nations where I will drive them.

Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of you, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments on you; and the whole remnant of you will I scatter to all the winds.

Moreover I swore to them in the wilderness, that I would scatter them among the nations, and disperse them through the countries;

Lord, righteousness belongs to you, but to us confusion of face, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to all Israel, who are near, and who are far off, through all the countries where you have driven them, because of their trespass that they have trespassed against you.


But Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. I will cleanse their blood, that I have not cleansed: for Yahweh dwells in Zion."

Then I asked, "Where are you going?" He said to me, "To measure Jerusalem, to see what is its breadth and what is its length." Behold, the angel who talked with me went forth, and another angel went out to meet him, and said to him, "Run, speak to this young man, saying, 'Jerusalem will be inhabited as villages without walls, because of the multitude of men and livestock in it. read more.
For I,' says Yahweh, 'will be to her a wall of fire around it, and I will be the glory in the midst of her.


It will happen in that day, that the mountains will drop down sweet wine, the hills will flow with milk, all the brooks of Judah will flow with waters, and a fountain will come forth from the house of Yahweh, and will water the valley of Shittim. Egypt will be a desolation, and Edom will be a desolate wilderness, for the violence done to the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
