I was with you every day in the Temple teaching, and you did not take me; but this is done so that the Writings may come true.
After a time Jesus came across him in the Temple and said to him, See, you are well and strong; do no more sin for fear a worse thing comes to you. I am conscious that you are Abraham's seed; but you have a desire to put me to death because my word has no place in you. For this reason they were unable to have belief, because Isaiah said again, He has made their eyes blind, and their hearts hard; for fear that they might see with their eyes and get knowledge with their hearts, and be changed, and I might make them well.
