Unless thy law had been my delight, I should have perished in my affliction. I will never forget thy precepts; for with them thou hast caused me to live. I am thine, keep me; for I have sought thy precepts. The wicked have waited for me to destroy me, but I will consider thy testimonies. I have seen an end of all perfection, but thy commandment is exceeding broad.

But we know that the Son of God is come and has given us understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life.
And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father who sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is eternal life; whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.
For the wages of sin is death, but the grace of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

I have clarified thee on the earth; I have finished the work which thou didst give me to do. And now, O Father, clarify thou me with thine own self with that clarity which I had with thee before the world was. I will raise them up a Prophet from among their brethren, like unto thee, and will put my words in his mouth; and he shall speak unto them all that I shall command him.
