As a man, going away, leaving his own house, and giving authority to his servants, and to each one his work, and commanded the porter that he should watch. Watch therefore: for you know not when the Lord of the house cometh, late, or at midnight, or at the crowing of the cock, or in the morning;

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. Many mansions are in the house of my Father; but if it were not so, I would have told you; because I go to prepare a place for you. And whither I go, you know the way. And Thomas says to Him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest: and how do we know the way? Jesus says to him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh to the Father, but through me.

Jesus knew that they wished to ask Him, and said to them, You are seeking with one another concerning this, because I said, A little while, and you see me no more, and again a little while, and you shall see me? Truly, truly, I say unto you, that you will weep and mourn, and the world will rejoice; you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy. When a woman may bring forth she has sorrow, because her hour has come: but when the little child may be born, she remembers her suffering no more, for the joy that a man has been born into the world. read more.
Therefore you indeed also now have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart will rejoice, and no one taketh your joy from you.
