Then will they deliver you up to distress, and will kill you; and ye will be hated by all nations on account of my name.
But beware of men. For they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues;
But before all these things they will lay their hands on you and persecute you, delivering you up to synagogues, and into prisons, and bringing you before kings and governors on account of my name.
Remember what I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my words, they will keep yours also.
They will put you out of the synagogues; yea, the hour is coming when every one that killeth you will think that he is offering sacrifice to God.
Yea, and all that desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
Comfort » The comforter
and I will pray the Father, and he will give you another Comforter, that he may be with you for ever; the Spirit of truth, which the world cannot receive, because it doth not behold it, nor know it; ye know it, because it abideth with you, and will be in you. I will not leave you bereaved; I am coming to you.
I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away; and every branch that beareth fruit he cleanseth, that it may bear more fruit. Ye are clean already, by reason of the word which I have spoken to you. read more.
Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, if it abide not in the vine, so neither can ye, unless ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit; for apart from me ye can do nothing. If any one abideth not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather it, and cast it into the fire, and it is burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever ye will, and it shall be done for you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and ye will become my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you; abide in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye will abide in my love, even as I have kept my Fathers commandments, and abide in his love. Hate » Those that hate the lord
After these things, the Lord appointed also seventy others, and sent them two and two before him into every city and place where he himself was about to come. And he said to them, The harvest is great, but the laborers are few. Pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send forth laborers for his harvest. Go forth; lo! Carry no purse, no bag, no sandals; salute no one by the way. And into whatever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house. And if a son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it; if not, it shall return to you. And abide in the same house, eating and drinking such things as they give; for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house. And into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat what is set before you, and heal the sick that are therein, and say to them, The kingdom of God hath come near to you. But into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go out into its streets and say, Even the dust of your city that cleaveth to our feet we wipe off to you; but know this, that the kingdom of God hath come near. And I tell you, that it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city. Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee, Bethsaida! for if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would long ago have repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment, than for you. And thou, Capernaum! shalt thou be exalted to heaven? thou shalt be brought down to the underworld. He that hearkeneth to you, hearkeneth to me; and he that rejecteth you, rejecteth me; but he that rejecteth me, rejecteth him that sent me.

Jesus saith to them, My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that its works are evil. Go ye up to the feast; I go not up to this feast; for my time is not yet fully come.

In like manner the Spirit also helpeth our weakness; for we know not what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedeth with groans which cannot be expressed in words. But he that searcheth the hearts knoweth the mind of the Spirit, because it intercedeth for the holy according to the will of God. We know moreover that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
but, as it is written: "The things which eye hath not seen, and ear hath not heard, and which have not entered into the heart of man, the great things which God hath prepared for those that love him." For God hath revealed them to us by his Spirit; for the Spirit searcheth all things, even the depths of God.

Remember what I said to you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my words, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do to you on account of my name, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have sin; but now they have no excuse for their sin. He that hateth me, hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their Law: "They hated me without a cause."
Jesus saith to them, My time is not yet come; but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that its works are evil. Go ye up to the feast; I go not up to this feast; for my time is not yet fully come.
