And, when He was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on His name, beholding His signs which He was doing.

As He spake these things, many believed on Him.

Many, therefore, of the Jews who came to Mary and beheld what He did, believed on Him;

because, on his account, many of the Jews were going away, and were believing on Jesus.


And the passover of the Jews was near; and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

And, when He was in Jerusalem at the passover, during the feast, many believed on His name, beholding His signs which He was doing.

And He said to them, "With desire I desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

And on the first day of the unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying, "Where dost Thou wish that we should prepare for Thee to eat the passover?" And He said, "Go away into the city to such a one, and say to him, 'The Teacher saith, My time is at hand; with you I observe the passover together with My disciples.'" But, when His brethren went up to the feast, then He also went up, not openly, but as it were in secret.

And they, hearing it, were glorifying God, and said to him, "You observe, brother, how many thousands there are among the Jews, of those who have believed; and they are all zealous for the law.


And there came to Him great multitudes, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others; and they cast them at His feet, and He healed them;

In that hour He cured many of diseases, and plagues, and evil spirits; and to many blind He bestowed sight.

This man came to Jesus by night, and said to Him, "Rabbi, we know that Thou hast come, as a Teacher, from God; for no one can do the signs which Thou art doing, unless God be with Him."

And Jesus, coming forth, saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion over them, and healed their sick.

And Jesus was going about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and healing every disease and every sickness among the people. And the report of Him went forth into all Syria; and they brought to Him all having ailments, afflicted with manifold diseases and torments, demoniacs, and lunatics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

And He healed many that were sick with many kinds of diseases, and cast out many demons; and He did not permit the demons to speak, because they knew Him [to be the Christ].

When, therefore, He was raised from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this; and they believed the Scripture, and the word that Jesus spake. But Jesus did not trust Himself to them, because He knew all men, and had no need that any one should testify concerning man; for He Himself knew what was in man,
