From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.
And Jesus returned by the influence of the Spirit into Galilee: and a fame was spread through all the country round about concerning Him:
Now after John was cast into prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,
And after two days he departed thence, and went into Cana of Galilee. For Jesus himself had testified that a prophet hath no honor in his own country. And when He was come into Galilee, the Galileans received Him, having seen all that he did in Jerusalem at the feast: for they also went to the feast.

He left Judea, and departed again into Galilee. And as He must pass through the country of Samaria, He came to a Samaritan city called Sichar, near the piece of ground which Jacob gave to his son Joseph.
