that all men may honour the Son, even as they honour the Father: he, that honoureth not the Son, honoureth not the Father that sent Him.

But he who received the seed into good ground, is one that heareth and understandeth the word, who indeed beareth fruit, and yieldeth, like fertile lands, some an hundred-fold, some sixty, some thirty.

And these are they who are like seed sown on good ground: such as hear the word, and receive it; and bring forth fruit, some thirty-fold, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write, These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I wish thou wert cold or hot. So then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will cast thee out of my mouth: read more.
because thou sayst, I am rich, and wealthy, and have want of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked. I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayst be rich; and white raiment that thou mayst be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness may not appear: and anoint thine eyes with eye-salve, that thou mayst see. Whomsoever I love, I reprove and chasten: be zealous therefore and repent. Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any one hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

Whoever therefore heareth these words of mine, and performeth them, I will compare him to a prudent man, who built his house on a rock: and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock. And whoever heareth these words of mine, and performeth them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand: read more.
and the rain fell upon it, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house, and it fell, and the fall thereof was great. And when Jesus had ended these discourses, the people were amazed at his doctrine:

But why do ye call me, Lord, Lord, and do not practise what I teach you? Whosoever cometh unto me, and heareth my instructions, and observeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like: he is like a man who in building an house digged deep, and laid the foundation upon a rock; and when a flood came, the torrent beat violently against that house, but could not shake it, for it was founded upon a rock.

As He was speaking these things, a certain woman lifted up her voice from amidst the croud, and said, Happy is the womb that bare thee, and the breasts which thou didst suck! but He replied, Yea rather happy are they, that hear the word of God and keep it.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John, who bare witness to the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and to whatever He saw. And He said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all the things must be fulfilled, which are written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and Psalms, concerning me. Then He opened their mind, to understand the scriptures: and said unto them, thus it is written, and thus it was necessary that the Christ should suffer, and rise again from the dead on the third day;

That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have contemplated, and our very hands have felt concerning the Word of life, (for this Life was manifested, and we saw it; and we testify and declare unto you that eternal Life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us) what we have seen and heard we declare unto you, that ye also may have communion with us: and our communion is with the Father and with his Son Jesus Christ.

But Peter, and the other apostles, answered, and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. The God of our fathers hath raised up Jesus whom ye slew and hanged on a tree. Ye know the report that was spread through all Judea, having begun from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached: concerning Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the holy Spirit and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed by the devil: for God was with Him. And we are witnesses of all things that He did, both in the country of Judea, and in the city of Jerusalem: whom notwithstanding they put to death, hanging Him on a tree. read more.

Being therefore come together they asked Him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore the kingdom to Israel? And having said these things, as they were looking upon Him, He was lifted up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as the lame man that was healed had hold of Peter and John, all the people being astonished ran together to them to the porch called Solomon's porch. Simon Peter, a servant and an apostle of Jesus Christ, to them that have obtained like precious faith with us, in the righteousness of our God, and of our saviour Jesus Christ: grace and peace be multiplied unto you, in the acknowledgement of God, and of Jesus our Lord; as his divine power hath given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who hath called us by that glory and virtue, read more.
by which are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises; that by these ye may become partakers of a divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And to this giving all diligence, add to your faith fortitude; and to fortitude knowledge; and to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience piety; and to piety brotherly affection; and to brotherly affection charity. For if these be in you and abound, they will not suffer you to be idle, nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ. But he, that hath not these, is blind, or short-sighted, having forgot his baptismal purification from his former sins. Wherefore, my brethren, be the more diligent thus to make your calling and election sure; for if ye do these things ye shall never fall. For so an entrance shall be administered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Wherefore I will not neglect to put you always in mind of these things, though ye know them, and are established in the present truth. And I think it my duty, while I am in this tabernacle, to stir you up by way of remembrance: knowing that I must soon lay down this my tabernacle, even as our Lord Jesus Christ hath shewed me. And I will endeavour that after my departure also ye may always be able to call these things to remembrance. For we did not follow artfully devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; but were eye-witnesses of his majesty.

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto Him, to shew to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and He sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John, who bare witness to the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, and to whatever He saw.

For we did not follow artfully devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ; but were eye-witnesses of his majesty. For He received from God the Father honor and glory when a voice came to Him from the magnificent glory, saying, "This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased." And this voice, from heaven we heard, when we were with Him in the holy mount.

Then Peter said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou pleasest, let us make three tabernacles here, one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias. And as he was speaking, lo a bright cloud overshadowed them, and a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him.

Then said Peter to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: let us make three tabernacles; one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: for he knew not what to say, for they were sore afraid. And there was a cloud overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son, hear ye Him.

And as they were departing from Him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here, let us make three tabernacles, one for Thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said. And as he was saying this, there came a cloud and overshadowed them; and they were afraid, when they went up into the cloud and disappeared. And there came a voice out of the cloud saying, This is my beloved Son, hear ye Him.

Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you, by miracles, and prodigies, and signs, which God wrought by Him in the midst of you,

The pharisees therefore said to Him, Thou bearest witness of thyself; thy testimony is not true. Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear witness of myself, my testimony is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I am going; but ye know not whence I come, nor whither I go. Ye judge according to the flesh, but I judge no man as yet: read more.

Jesus answered them, I have told you, and ye do not believe me: though the works that I do in the name of my Father, testify of me. But ye believe not; because ye are not of my sheep: for as I said unto you, my sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. read more.

But Jesus said unto them, Many good works have I shewn you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered Him, saying, We do not go about to stone thee for a good work, but for blasphemy; and because thou being a man makest thyself God. Jesus replied, Is it not written in your law, "I have said, ye are gods?" And if it stiled them gods, to whom the word of God came, (and the scripture cannot be made void,) do ye say of Him, whom the Father hath sanctified, and sent into the world, thou blasphemest, because I said, I am the Son of God? If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not. But if I do, though ye believe not me, believe the works: that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in Him.

And Jesus answered them saying, The time is come that the Son of man is to be glorified. Though I tell you indeed and in truth, Except a grain of wheat fall into the ground and die, it remaineth alone; but if it die, it produceth much fruit. So he, that loveth his life, shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world, shall preserve it unto life eternal. read more.

The people therefore that stood by, and heard it, said, That it was thunder: but others said, it was an angel spake to Him. Jesus answered and said, This voice came not for my sake, but for yours.

Who then is he that overcometh the world, but he who believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
