Jesus spoke these things, and he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come. I glorified thee on the earth. I finished the work which thou have given me that I should do. And now, Father, glorify thou me with thyself with the glory that I had with thee before the world was. I manifested thy name to the men whom thou gave me out of the world. They were thine, and thou gave them to me, and they have kept thy word. Now they know that all things, as many as thou gave me are from thee. Because the sayings that thou gave to me, I gave to them. And they received them, and knew truly that I came forth from thee, and they believed that thou sent me. I pray about them. I do not pray about the world, but about whom thou have given me, because they are for thee. And all my things are thy things, and thy things are my things, and I am glorified in them. And I am no more in the world, and these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep them in thy name that thou have given to me, so that they may be one, just as we. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name. Whom thou gave to me, I kept, and none of them was destroyed, except the son of destruction, so that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now I come to thee. And I speak these things in the world, so that they may have my joy fulfilled in them. After these things there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

Jerusalem, that is built as a city that is compact together, where the tribes go up, even the tribes of LORD, [for] an ordinance for Israel, to give thanks to the name of LORD. For there thrones are set for judgment, the thrones of the house of David.
And after these things Jesus walked in Galilee, for he did not want to walk in Judea, because the Jews sought to kill him. Now the feast of the Jews, the feast of tabernacles, was near. Jesus therefore says to them, My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it, that its works are evil. If ye were of the world, the world would love its own, but because ye are not of the world (instead I chose you out of the world), because of this the world hates you. Remember the word that I said to you, A bondman is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they kept my word, they will keep yours also. But all these things they will do to you because of my name, because they have not known him who sent me. If I had not come and spoken to them, they would not have had sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. He who hates me hates my Father also. If I had not done among them the works that no other man has done, they would not have had sin, but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father. But, that the word that is written in their law may be fulfilled, They hated me without cause.
Jesus therefore says to them, My time is not yet here, but your time is always ready. The world cannot hate you, but it hates me because I testify about it, that its works are evil. Go ye up to this feast. I am not yet going to this feast, because my time is not yet fulfilled.
