John answered them, saying, I baptize with water, but there stands one among you, whom ye know not;
Jesus said unto him, Have I been such a long time with you, and yet thou hast not known me, Philip? He that has seen me has seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink, thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.
Then they said unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father; if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
The man answered and said unto them, Indeed this is a marvellous thing that ye do not know where he is from, and yet he has opened my eyes.
And they will do these things unto you because they do not know the Father, nor me.
For those that dwell at Jerusalem and their princes, because they knew him not nor yet the voices of the prophets who are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
Whosoever abides in him does not sin: whosoever sins has not seen him or known him.

It is also written in your law that the testimony of two men is true. I AM one that bears witness of myself, and the Father that sent me bears witness of me. Jesus said unto him, I AM the way, the truth, and the life; no one comes unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also; and from now on ye know him and have seen him.

This third time I am coming unto you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.
Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses, but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.
At the mouth of two witnesses or three witnesses shall he that is worthy of death be put to death, but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
He that despised the law of Moses died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
One witness shall not be valid against a man for any iniquity or for any sin, in any sin which he should commit. At the mouth of two witnesses or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. When a false witness rises up against any man to testify rebellion against him, then both the men, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the LORD, before the priests and the judges, who shall be in those days; read more.
and the judges shall make diligent inquisition; and, behold, if the witness is a false witness and has testified falsely against his brother, then shall ye do unto him as he had thought to have done unto his brother; so shalt thou put the evil away from among you. And those who remain shall hear and fear and shall never again commit any such evil among you. And thine eye shall not pity, but life shall go for life, eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot.

And those who remain shall hear and fear and shall never again commit any such evil among you. Therefore if thy brother shall sin against thee, go and reprove him between thee and him alone; if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.
Then the Pharisees said unto him, Thou dost bear witness of thyself; thy witness is not true. Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear witness of myself, my witness is true, for I know from where I came and where I go; but ye do not know where I came from and where I go.
