Part of the portion [allotted to] the descendants of Judah [became] the inheritance of the descendants of Simeon because the portion for the descendants of Judah was {too large for them}, so the descendants of Simeon inherited [from] their inheritance.
The second allotment {fell} for Simeon, for the tribe of the descendants of Simeon, according to their families. And their inheritance was in the midst of the inheritance of the descendants of Judah.
Describe the land [in] seven divisions, and bring [it] to me here; I will cast lots for you here before Yahweh our God.

And the men went and passed through the land, and they {described} the cities in seven divisions in a book; and they came to Joshua to the camp [at] Shiloh,

The entire congregation of the {Israelites} assembled [at] Shiloh, and they set up there the tent of meeting, and the land was subdued before them. And Joshua said to the {Israelites}, "{How long} [will] you be slack about going to take possession of the land that Yahweh, the God of your ancestors, has given you? read more.

So they set up for themselves the carved divine image that Micah had made, all the days that the house of God [was] in Shiloh.
So he abandoned the dwelling place at Shiloh, [the] tent he had placed among humankind.
"For go now to my place that [was] in Shiloh, where I caused my name to dwell in the beginning, and see what I did to it {because of} the wickedness of my people Israel.
