After they had gone, an angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream and said, "Get up, take the child and his mother and flee to Egypt, and stay there until I tell you, for Herod is going to look for the child to kill him."
Whenever they persecute you in one place, flee to another. I tell you the truth, you will not finish going through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.
But the Pharisees went out and plotted against him, as to how they could assassinate him. Now when Jesus learned of this, he went away from there. Great crowds followed him, and he healed them all.
