and forgive us our sins, for even we ourselves forgive every one that is indebted to us; and lead us not into temptation. And he said to them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go to him at midnight, and say to him Friend, lend me three loaves; for a friend of mine hath come to me from a journey, and I have nothing to set before him? And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not; the door is now shut, and I and my children are in bed; I cannot rise and give thee. Then he sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. And his disciples came to him, saying, Explain to us the parable of the tares of the field.
And when he was in private, they who were about him, with the twelve, asked him about the parables.
And when he had gone into the house from the crowd, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.
And they asked him, saying, How is it that the Pharisees and scribes say that Elijah must come first?
And when he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast it out?
Tell us, when will these things be? and what will be the sign when all these things are about to be accomplished?
