Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air, for they sow not, neither do they reap nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? read more.
And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they toil not, neither do they spin; and yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Therefore, if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, With what shall we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things.) For your heavenly Father knows that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow, for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the affliction thereof.

Aleph Do not be angry with the evildoers, neither be thou envious of the workers of iniquity. For they shall soon be cut down like the grass and wither as the green herb.

Do not meddle with those who are evil, neither be envious of the wicked; for the evil man shall not come to a good end; the fire of the wicked shall be put out.

And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat; neither for the body, what ye shall put on. The life is more than food, and the body is more than raiment. Consider the ravens, for they neither sow nor reap, which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are ye better than the fowls? read more.
And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit? If ye then are not able to do that thing which is least, why take ye thought for the rest? Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. If then God so clothes the grass, which is today in the field and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O ye of little faith? And seek not what ye shall eat or what ye shall drink, neither be ye high minded. For all these things do the Gentiles of the world seek after, and your Father knows that ye have need of these things. But rather seek ye the kingdom of God, and all these things shall be added unto you. Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what ye have and give alms; ; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches neither moth corrupts. For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

Bless the LORD, O my soul. O LORD my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty, who dost cover thyself with light as with a garment, who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain, who dost establish his chambers between the waters, who makes the clouds his chariot, who walks upon the wings of the wind, read more.
who makes his angels spirits, his ministers a flaming fire, who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be moved by any age. Thou didst cover it with the deep as with a garment; the waters stood above the mountains. At thy rebuke they fled; at the voice of thy thunder they hasted away. The mountains were exposed; they descended through the valleys unto the place which thou hast founded for them. Thou hast set a bound that they may not pass over, that they not turn again to cover the earth. Thou art he who sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the mountains. They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild asses quench their thirst. Next to them the fowls of the heavens have their habitation; they sing among the leaves.

Blessed is the man that is steadfast in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out her roots by the river and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green and shall not be fatigued in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

Be anxious for nothing, but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time, casting all your cares upon him, for he cares for you.

The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.

For all these things do the Gentiles of the world seek after, and your Father knows that ye have need of these things.

but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust corrupt and where thieves do not break through nor steal;
