Discerning » Who discerns

Then those who revered Yahweh spoke {with one another}. And Yahweh listened attentively and heard, and a scroll of remembrance was written {before him} of those who revere Yahweh and ponder his name. "They will be mine," says Yahweh of hosts, "on the day that I [am] acting, [my] treasured possession. I will have compassion on them as a man has compassion on his son who serves him. You will return and see [the difference] between [the] righteous and [the] wicked, between [the one who] serves God and the one who does not serve him.
But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have trained their faculties for the distinguishing of both good and evil.

Many are [the] pains of the wicked, but [for] the one who trusts Yahweh loyal love surrounds him.
The wicked flee, but no one pursues, but the righteous is bold like a lion.
Yahweh tests [the] righteous, but [the] wicked and [the] lover of violence his soul hates.
[There will be] affliction and distress for every {human being} who does evil, of the Jew first and of the Greek,
Look! My servants shall shout {for joy}, but you, you shall cry out {for pain} and howl {for sadness}.
"And all [the] horns of [the] wicked I will cut off. [The] horns of [the] righteous will be lifted up."
You will return and see [the difference] between [the] righteous and [the] wicked, between [the one who] serves God and the one who does not serve him.
