Book Summary:
Malachi is the last book in the bible and portrays Christ as the ’sun of righteousness.’ Christ indeed is our dayspring upon high who now is rising in our hearts and spreads His light into all are being, revealing areas that need changing as we walk with Him in the light. The last word of the O.T. is ’curse’ however the new testament ends with a blessing of grace that has come because of Christ and His work on the cross. Malachi prophecies of one who will announce the coming of the messiah – one crying our in the desert – there is a 400 year gap until John the Baptist appears making the way of the Lord.
