This is my comfort in my affliction, for your word has revived me.

If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things that are above, not on the things that are on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

When he had said this, an argument arose between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the assembly was divided. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit; but the Pharisees confess all of these.

The LORD's Law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD's testimony is sure, making wise the simple. The LORD's precepts are right, rejoicing the heart.
