But he, knowing their thoughts, said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. A house divided against itself falls.
Sheol and Abaddon are before the LORD?how much more then the hearts of the children of men.
But, the LORD of hosts, who tests the righteous, who sees the heart and the mind, let me see your vengeance on them; for to you have I revealed my cause.
But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, "Why do you test me, you hypocrites?
And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
But he knew their thoughts; and he said to the man who had the withered hand, "Rise up, and stand in the middle." He arose and stood.
He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
and because he did not need anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.

He said to them, "You are those who justify yourselves in the sight of men, but God knows your hearts. For that which is exalted among men is an abomination in the sight of God.
and because he did not need anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
God, who knows the heart, testified about them, giving them the Holy Spirit, just like he did to us.

And he arose and departed to his house. Now when the crowds saw it, they were filled with awe and glorified God, who had given such authority to men.
And when he entered again into Capernaum after some days, it was heard that he was in the house. And many were gathered together, so that there was no more room, not even around the door; and he spoke the word to them. And four people came, carrying a paralytic to him. read more.
And when they could not come near to him for the crowd, they removed the roof above him. When they had broken it up, they let down the mat that the paralytic was lying on. And Jesus, seeing their faith, said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you." But there were some of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts, "Why does this man speak like that? He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins but God alone?" And immediately Jesus, perceiving in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, said to them, "Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
