But Jesus knowing it, withdrew thence, and great crowds followed him; and he healed them all: and charged them strictly that they should not make him publicly known: that that might be fulfilled which was spoken through Esaias the prophet, saying, read more.
Behold my servant, whom I have chosen, my beloved, in whom my soul has found its delight. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall shew forth judgment to the nations. He shall not strive or cry out, nor shall any one hear his voice in the streets; a bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, until he bring forth judgment unto victory; and on his name shall the nations hope.

For he healed many, so that they beset him that they might touch him, as many as had plagues. And the unclean spirits, when they beheld him, fell down before him, and cried saying, Thou art the Son of God. And he rebuked them much, that they might not make him manifest.


And as they descended from the mountain, he charged them that they should relate to no one what they had seen, unless when the Son of man should be risen from among the dead.

And he charged them that they should speak to no one of it. But so much the more he charged them, so much the more abundantly they proclaimed it;

And their eyes were opened; and Jesus charged them sharply, saying, See, let no man know it.

And he rebuked them much, that they might not make him manifest.

And he charged them much that no one should know this; and he desired that something should be given her to eat.
