On the next day, he was determined to go out into Galilee, and he found Philip. And Jesus said to him, "Follow me."

And walking by the sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers: Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew, his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. And he said to them, "Come after me, and I will make you fishers for men." And they immediately left their nets and followed him. read more.
Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and he called them. And they immediately left the boat and their father, and followed him.

And as Jesus passed by from there, he saw a man called Matthew sitting at the tax collection office. He said to him, "Follow me." And he got up and followed him. And it happened as he sat in the house, it happened that many tax collectors and sinners came and sat down with Jesus and his disciples.

Now the names of the twelve apostles are these. The first, Simon, who is called Peter; and Andrew his brother; and James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

And he went up into the mountain, and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him. And he appointed twelve, designating them apostles, and that he might send them out to preach, and to have authority to cast out demons. read more.
