Therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but you are fellow-citizens of the saints and of the family of God, being built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner-stone,

Blessed are those that hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peace makers, for they shall be called children of God. Blessed are the persecuted for righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when they shall reproach you, and persecute you, and say every evil against you, falsely, for my sake. Rejoice and exult, for great is your reward in heaven; for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you. You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its strength, with what shall it be seasoned? It is good for nothing more, except being cast out to be trodden upon by men. You are the light of the world. A city situated on a mountain cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a modius [1.916 gallon measure], but on a candlestick, and it shines to all in the house. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works, and glorify your father in heaven.

And some one said to him, Behold your mother and your brothers stand without, desiring to speak to you. And he answered and said to him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brothers? read more.

Not every one that says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that does the will of my Father in heaven.
Then Jesus answered them and said, My teaching is not mine but his that sent me. If any one will do his will, he shall know of the teaching whether it is from God or whether I speak from myself.
