But Jesus, knowing it, withdrew thence; and many followed Him, and He healed them all. And He charged them, that they should not make Him known; that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, read more.
"Behold, My servant Whom I chose, My Beloved, in Whom My soul delighted. I will put My Spirit upon Him, and He will declare judgment to the gentiles. He will not strive, nor cry aloud; nor will any one hear His voice in the streets: A bruised reed will He not break, and a smoking flax will He not quench, till He send forth judgment unto victory; And in His name will the gentiles hope."

And Jesus with His disciples withdrew to the sea; and a great multitude from Galilee followed Him; and from Judaea, and from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and beyond the Jordan, and about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing what things He was doing, came to Him. And He spake to His disciples, that a little boat should wait, on Him, lest they should throng Him; read more.
for He had healed many, so that as many as had plagues pressed upon Him, that they might touch Him. And the unclean spirits, whensoever they were beholding Him, were falling down before Him, and crying, saying, "Thou art the Son of God." And He was charging them much, that they should not make Him manifest.


And He came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee; and He was teaching them on the sabbath; and they were astonished at His teaching, because His word was with authority. And in the synagogue there was a man having a spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice, read more.
"Ha! what is there to us and to Thee, Jesus, Nazarene! Didst Thou come to destroy us? I know Thee, Who Thou art, the Holy One of God!" And Jesus rebuked it, saying, "Be silent, and come out from him." And the demon, hurling him into the midst, came out from him, having injured him naught. And amazement came upon all; and they were talking together, one with another, saying, "What is this word, that with authority and power He commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out!"
