But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,
And saying, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. And the king was exceedingly sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes who sat with him, he would not reject her.
