Then was brought unto him one possessed with a demon, blind, and dumb: and he healed him, so that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.

As they went out, behold, they brought to him a dumb man possessed with a demon. And when the demon was cast out, the dumb man spoke: and the multitudes marveled, saying, It was never so seen in Israel.

And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and put them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: So that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He has done all things well: he makes both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

And one of the multitude answered and said, Teacher, I have brought unto you my son, who has a dumb spirit;

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, You dumb and deaf spirit, I charge you, come out of him, and enter no more into him. And the spirit cried, and convulsed him terribly, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; so that many said, He is dead.


And Jesus departed from there, and came near unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there. And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and put them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them: So that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

And again, departing from the borders of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the region of Decapolis. And they brought unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they besought him to put his hand upon him. And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue; read more.
And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and said unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened. And immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plainly. And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more zealously they proclaimed it; And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He has done all things well: he makes both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.
