And while they turned back in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man is going to be delivered into the hands of men, and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up. And they were exceedingly sorry.
And having departed from there, they passed through Galilee, and he did not want that any man would know it. For he taught his disciples, and said to them, The Son of man is delivered up into the hands of men, and they will kill him. And after being killed, he will rise the third day. But they did not understand the saying, and were afraid to question him.
And they were all amazed at the majesty of God. But while all were wondering at all the things which Jesus did, he said to his disciples, Place ye these sayings into your ears, for the Son of man is going to be delivered up into the hands of men. But they did not understand this saying, and it was concealed from them, so that they did not perceive it. And they were afraid to ask him about this saying.
