And Asa will take all the silver and the gold being left in the treasures of the house of Jehovah, and the treasures of the king's house, and he will give them into the hand of his servants: and king Asa will send them to the son of Hadad, son of Tabrimon, son of Hezion, king of Aram, dwelling in Damascus, saying, A covenant between me and between thee, between my father and between thy father: behold, I sent to thee a gift of silver and gold; go break thy covenant with Baasha king of Israel, and he will go up from me. And the son of Hadad will hear to king Asa, and he will send the chiefs of the forces which were to him against the cities of Israel, and he will strike Ijon and Dan, and the meadow of the House of Oppression, and all Cinneroth with all the land of Naphtali. And it will be when Baasha heard, and he will leave off building Ramah, and he will dwell in Tirzah. And king Asa caused all Judah to hear; none free: and they will lift up the stones of Ramah and its woods which Baasha built, and king Asa will build with them Geba of Benjamin, and Mizpeh.
