They began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man subverting our nation, opposing payment of taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is the Messiah, a King.”
They also presented false witnesses who said, “This man does not stop speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the law.
But some sneered and said, “They’re full of new wine!”
For we have found this man to be a plague, an agitator among all the Jews throughout the Roman world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes!

But the Pharisees said, “He drives out demons by the ruler of the demons!”
They began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man subverting our nation, opposing payment of taxes to Caesar, and saying that He Himself is the Messiah, a King.”

But some sneered and said, “They’re full of new wine!”

Then John's disciples told him about all these things. So John summoned two of his disciples and sent them to the Lord, asking, "Are You the One who is to come, or should we look for someone else?" At that time Jesus healed many people of diseases, plagues, and evil spirits, and He granted sight to many blind people.
