Do ye not yet understand, that everything going into the mouth proceeds to the belly, and is cast out in the privy? But the things going forth out of the mouth come from the heart, and these pollute the man. For from the heart come forth evil reflections, slaughters, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimonies, defamations: These are the things polluting a man: but to eat with unwashed hands pollutes not a man.

The unjust turned aside from the belly: they went astray from the womb, speaking falsehood.
That ye were in that time without Christy alienated from the citizenship of Israel, and foreigners from the covenants of solemn promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:
Thus said Jehovah, What iniquity found your fathers in me that they removed far off from me, and went after vanity, and they became vain?

Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did to them likewise. And afterwards he sent to them his son, saying, They will be changed by my son. And seeking to lay hold on him, they feared the crowd, since they held him as a prophet.
