And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry and to say, "Jesus, the son of David, have mercy on me." And many rebuked him, that he should hold his peace. And he threw away his cloak, and rose and came to Jesus: And Jesus answered, and said unto him, "What wilt thou that I do unto thee?" The blind said unto him, "Master, that I might see." Jesus said unto him, "Go thy way, thy faith hath saved thee." And by and by he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

And as they departed from Jericho, much people followed him. And behold, two blind men sitting by the wayside, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried, saying, "Master, the son of David have mercy on us." And the people rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: But they cried the more, saying, "Have mercy on us, Master, which art the son of David." read more.
