For in the rising up they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the messengers of God in heaven. And for the rising up of the dead, read ye not that spoken by God, saying, read more.

If therefore ye be risen with Christ, seek things above, where Christ is sitting on the right hand of God. Think of things above, and not upon those upon the earth. For ye died, and your life has been hid with Christ in God.

And he having spoken this, there was a dissension of the Pharisees and Sadducees: and the multitude was divided. For truly the Sadducees say there is no rising up, neither messenger, nor spirit: and the Pharisees acknowledge both.
