Jesus answered and said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God. Then being offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like gold or silver or stone, engraved by art and man's imagination.
For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.
God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent. Has He said, and shall He not do it? Or has He spoken, and shall He not make it good?
And also the Glory of Israel will not lie nor repent, for He is not a man that He should repent.

If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is sitting at the right hand of God. Be mindful of things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life has been hidden with Christ in God.
The Resurrection » Assumed and proved by our lord

And as regards the dead, that they rise, have you not read in the book of Moses how God spoke to him in the Bush, saying, "I am the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob?"
