For whoever will save his life, shall lose it; but whoever will lose his life for my sake, shall save it.

And he took the twelve aside, and said to them: Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and all things that are written by the prophets concerning the Son of man shall be accomplished.: For he shall be delivered to the Gentiles, and shall be derided and insulted and spit upon; and they shall scourge him, and put him to death, and on the third day he shall rise again.

I speak not of you all. I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me. I tell you this now, before it comes to pass, that when it comes to pass, you may believe that I am he. Verily, verily I say to you, he that receives him that I shall send, receives me; and he that receives me, receives him that sent me. read more.
