Then he comes to his disciples, and says to them, Sleep what remains, and take rest...Behold, the hour has come near, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners. Awake, we go. Behold, he who betrays me has come near. And while he was still speaking, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and clubs from the chief priest and elders of the people. Now the man who betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomever I may kiss is he. Seize him. And straightaway having come to Jesus, he said, Hail, Rabbi, and kissed him much. And Jesus said to him, Friend, why are thou here. Then having come, they threw their hands on Jesus, and seized him.

Now he who betrayed him had given them a sign, saying, Whomever I may kiss is he. Seize him, and lead away securely. And when he came, straightaway having approached him, he says, Rabbi, Rabbi, and kissed him much. And they threw their hands on him, and seized him.

And having come out, he proceeded according to his habit to the mount of Olives, and his disciples also followed him. And when he came at the place, he said to them, Pray ye not to enter into temptation. And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's throw. And he knelt down and prayed, read more.
saying, Father, if thou want, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless not my will, but thine be done. And an agent from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him. And having become in agony he prayed more intensely, and his sweat became like drops of blood falling down to the ground. And after rising up from his prayer, having come to the disciples, he found them sleeping from sorrow. And said to them, Why sleep ye? Having risen, pray that ye may not enter into temptation. While he yet spoke, behold, a multitude, and the man called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them. And he came near to Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said to him, Judas, thou betray the Son of man with a kiss? And when those who were around him saw what would be, they said, Lord, shall we strike with the sword?

After speaking these things, Jesus went forth with his disciples on the other side of the brook Kidron, where there was a garden into which he entered, he and his disciples. Now Judas, the man betraying him, had also known the place, because Jesus also often gathered there with his disciples.
