Therefore, go [and] make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the age."

And he appointed twelve, so that they would be with him and so that he could send them out to preach and to have authority to expel demons.

And he summoned the twelve and began to send them out two [by] two, and gave them authority over the unclean spirits. And he commanded them that they take along nothing for the journey except only a staff--no bread, no traveler's bag, no money in their belts-- but to put on sandals and not to wear two tunics. read more.
And he said to them, "Whenever you enter into a house, stay there until you depart from there. And whatever place does not welcome you or listen to you, [as you] go out from there, shake off the dust that is on your feet for a testimony against them."

And summoning the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all the demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. And he said to them, "Take along nothing for the journey--neither a staff, nor a traveler's bag, nor bread, nor money, nor to have two tunics apiece. read more.
And into whatever house you enter, stay there and depart from there. And [as for] all those who do not welcome you--[when you] depart from that town, shake off the dust from your feet for a testimony against them."

"And you are the ones who have remained with me in my trials, and I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred on me, that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them. If you retain [the sins] of any, they are retained."

Now when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon [son] of John, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs!" He said to him again a second time, "Simon [son] of John, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord, you know that I love you." He said to him, "Shepherd my sheep!" He said to him a third [time], "Simon [son] of John, do you love me?" Peter was distressed because he said to him a third [time], "Do you love me?" and he said to him, "Lord, you know everything! You know that I love you!" Jesus said to him, "Feed my sheep! read more.
Truly, truly I say to you, when you were young, you tied [your clothes] around yourself and walked wherever you wanted. But when you grow old, you will stretch out your hands, and someone else will tie you up and carry [you] where you do not want [to go]. (Now he said this to indicate by what kind of death he would glorify God.) And [after he] had said this, he said to him, "Follow me!"

Therefore, go [and] make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the age."

And Jesus approached [and] spoke to them, saying, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go [and] make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you, and behold, I am with you all the days until the end of the age."

And no one has ascended into heaven except the one who descended from heaven--the Son of Man.

Jesus sent out these twelve, instructing them saying, "Do not go on the road to the Gentiles, and do not enter into a city of the Samaritans, but go instead to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. And [as you] are going, preach, saying, 'The kingdom of heaven has come near!' read more.

And they went out [and] proclaimed that [people] should repent. And they were expelling many demons and anointing many sick [people] with olive oil and healing [them].

And later, [while] they were reclining at table, he appeared to the eleven. And he reprimanded their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they did not believe those who had seen him [after he] had been raised. And he said to them, "Go into all the world [and] preach the gospel to all creation. The one who believes and is baptized will be saved, but the one who refuses to believe will be condemned. read more.
And these signs will accompany those who believe: in my name they will expel demons, they will speak in new tongues, they will pick up snakes. And if they drink any deadly [poison] it will never hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick and {they will get} well." Then the Lord Jesus, after [he] had spoken to them, was taken up into heaven and sat down at the right hand of God. And they went out [and] proclaimed everywhere, [while] the Lord was working together with [them] and confirming the message through the accompanying signs.]]

And summoning the twelve, he gave them power and authority over all the demons and to cure diseases, and he sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal the sick. So they departed [and] went throughout the villages, proclaiming the good news and healing everywhere.

And after these [things], the Lord also appointed seventy-two others and sent them out two by two before {him} into every town and place where he was about to go. And he said to them, "The harvest [is] plentiful, but the workers [are] few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest that he send out workers into his harvest. Go! Behold, I am sending you out like lambs in the midst of wolves! read more.
Do not carry a money bag or a traveler's bag or sandals, and greet no one along the road. And into whatever house you enter, first say, "Peace [be] to this household!" And if a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on him. But if not, it will return to you. And remain in the same house, eating and drinking {whatever they provide}, for the worker [is] worthy of his pay. Do not move from house to house. And into whatever town you enter and they welcome you, eat {whatever is} set before you, and heal the sick in it, and say to them, "The kingdom of God has come near to you." But into whatever town you enter and they do not welcome you, go out into its streets [and] say, "Even the dust of your town that clings to our feet we wipe off against you! Nevertheless know this: that the kingdom of God has come near!" I tell you that it will be more bearable on that day for Sodom than for that town!

And he said to them, "These [are] my words that I spoke to you [while I] was still with you, that everything that is written about me in the law of Moses and the prophets and psalms must be fulfilled." Then he opened their minds to understand the scriptures, and said to them, "Thus it is written [that] the Christ would suffer and would rise from the dead on the third day, read more.

And behold, I am sending out what was promised by my Father upon you, but you stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."

But I say this, that each of you is saying, "I am with Paul," and "I [am] with Apollos," and "I [am] with Cephas," and "I [am] with Christ." Has Christ been divided? Paul was not crucified for you, was he? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul? I give thanks that I baptized none of you except Crispus and Gaius, read more.
lest anyone should say that you were baptized in my name. (Now I also baptized the household of Stephanas. Beyond that I do not know if I baptized anyone else.) For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to proclaim the gospel, not with {clever speech}, lest the cross of Christ be emptied.

Thus it will be at the end of the age. The angels will go out and separate the evil from among the righteous

And, "You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the works of your hands; they will perish, but you continue, and they will all become old like a garment, and like a robe you will roll them up, and like a garment they will be changed; but you are the same, and your years will not run out."

since it would have been necessary for him to suffer many times from the foundation of the world, but now he has appeared once at the end of the ages for the removal of sin by the sacrifice of himself.

"And immediately after the tribulation of those days, 'the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven will be shaken.' And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man arriving on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect together from the four winds, from [one] end of heaven to the [other] end of it.

And [as] he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came up to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these [things] happen, and what [will be] the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"

Long ago you laid the foundation of the earth, and [the] heavens [are] the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will endure. And like a garment they will all wear out, you will replace them like clothing, and they will be set aside. But you [are] the same, and your years do not end.

The earth is utterly broken; [the] earth is torn asunder; [the] earth is shaken violently. [The] earth staggers to and fro like the drunkard, and it sways like hut, and its transgression is heavy upon it, and it falls and does not rise again.

Lift up your eyes to the heavens and look to the earth beneath, for [the] heavens will be torn to pieces like smoke, and the earth will be worn out like garment, and those who inhabit her will die like gnats. But my salvation will be forever, and my righteousness will not be broken to pieces.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. "But concerning that day and hour no one knows--not even the angels of heaven nor the Son--except the Father alone. For just as the days of Noah [were], so the coming of the Son of Man will be. read more.
For as in the days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day Noah entered into the ark. And they did not know [anything] until the deluge came and swept [them] all away. So also the coming of the Son of Man will be.

And then he will send out the angels, and will gather the elect together from the four winds, from the end of the earth to the end of heaven. "Now learn the parable from the fig tree: Whenever its branch has already become tender and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near. So also you, when you see these [things] happening, know that he is near, at the door. Truly I say to you that this generation will never pass away until all these [things] take place! Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. "But concerning that day or hour no one knows--not even the angels in heaven nor the Son--except the Father. Watch out! Be alert, because you do not know when the time is! It is like a man away on a journey, who left his house and gave his slaves authority--to each one his work--and to the doorkeeper he gave orders that he should be on the alert. Therefore be on the alert, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming--whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or early in the morning-- lest he arrive suddenly [and] find you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to everyone: Be on the alert!"

people fainting from fear and expectation of what is coming on the inhabited earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man arriving in a cloud with power and great glory. But [when] these [things] begin to happen, stand up straight and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near!" read more.
And he told them a parable: "Look at the fig tree and all the trees. When they put out [foliage], now you see for yourselves [and] know that by this time the summer is near. So also you, when you see these [things] happening, know that the kingdom of God is near. Truly I say to you that this generation will never pass away until all [things] take place! Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away. "But take care for yourselves, lest your hearts are weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of daily life, and that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. For it will come upon all who reside on the face of the whole earth. But be alert at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these [things] [that] are going to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man."

But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, in which the heavens will disappear with a rushing noise, and the celestial bodies will be destroyed [by] being burned up, and the earth and the deeds [done] on it will be disclosed. [Because] all these things are being destroyed in this way, what sort of [people] must you be in holy behavior and godliness, [while] waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be destroyed [by] being burned up and the celestial bodies will melt [as they] are consumed by heat! read more.
But according to his promise, we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness resides.

And I saw a great white throne and the one who was seated on it, {from whose presence} earth and heaven fled, and a place was not found for them.
