There is Another Who testifieth concerning Me; and I know that the testimony which He testifieth concerning Me is true.

And the Father Who sent Me, He hath testified concerning Me. Ye have neither at any time heard His voice, nor seen His form.


If we receive the testimony of men, the testimony of God is greater; because this is the testimony of God, that He hath testified concerning His Son.

And John testified, saying, "I have beheld the Spirit descending as a dove out of Heaven, and He abode upon Him. And I knew Him not; but He who sent me to immerse in water, He said to me, 'Upon Whomsoever you shall see the Spirit descending and abiding on Him, the Same is He Who immerseth in the Holy Spirit.' And I have seen, and have testified, that This is the Son of God."

And, having been immersed, Jesus went up straightway from the water; and, behold, the heavens were opened; and he saw the Spirit of God descending as a dove, coming upon Him; and, behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, "This is My Son, the beloved, in whom I delighted."

And it came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed by John into the Jordan. And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens rent apart, and the Spirit as a dove descending upon Him. And a voice came out of Heaven, saying, "Thou art My Son, the beloved, in Whom I was well pleased."

Now it came to pass, when all the people were immersed, that as Jesus also was immersed, and was praying, Heaven was opened, and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form, as a dove; and a voice came out of Heaven, "Thou art My Son, the Beloved, in Whom I delighted."


And it came to pass in those days that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was immersed by John into the Jordan. Then cometh Jesus from Galilee to the Jordan, to John, to be immersed by him; but he was hindering Him, saying, "I have need to be immersed by Thee; and dost Thou come to me?" But Jesus, answering, said to him, "Suffer it now; for thus it becomes us to fulfill all righteousness." Then He suffers Him. read more.

And Jesus Himself, when beginning His ministry, was about thirty years old, being, as was supposed, the Son of Joseph, the son of Heli,






to Whom coming, a Living Stone, rejected, indeed, by men, but with God Elect, Precious,


And Jesus, answering, said to him, "Happy are you, Simon Bar-Jonah; because flesh and blood did not reveal it to you, but My Father Who is in Heaven.
