And then {I will say to them plainly}, 'I never knew you. Depart from me, you who practice lawlessness!'
But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth!"

They answered and said to him, "You were born completely in sin, and are you attempting to teach us?" And they threw him out. Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and finding him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" He answered and said, "And who is [he], sir, that I may believe in him?" Jesus said to him, "You have both seen him, and he is the one who is speaking with you." [[ And he said, "I believe, Lord!" and he worshiped him.

that if you confess with your mouth "Jesus [is] Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If we say that we have fellowship with him and walk in the darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth.
The one who says "I have come to know him," and does not keep his commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in this person.
