And when Jesus had come into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother laid, and sick with a fever.

And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them.

And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And the mother of Simon's wife was taken with a violent fever; and they besought him for her.



Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children, and their own houses well.

Have we not power to lead about a sister, a wife, as well as other apostles, and as the brethren of the Lord, and Cephas?

When the evening was come, they brought to him many that were possessed with demons: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick; read more.

And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered to them. read more.
And at evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with demons. And all the city was gathered at the door. And he healed many that were sick with divers diseases, and cast out many demons; and suffered not the demons to speak, because they knew him.

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered to them. Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases, brought them to him: and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. read more.
