Book Summary:

Micah has many prophecies of Jesus Christ concerning Christ’s birthplace – he was a prophet of hope looking forward to the Messiah, when He will reign and peace will cover the earth. Micah also prophesied Christ as king and Christ reigning in righteousness. In the new testament Micah is quoted twice. First by the magi coming to Jerusalem and then by Christ when He sent out the twelve. It was a 700 year old prophecy by Micah that led the magi on there way to find the babe of Bethlehem that would bring salvation to the whole earth. Christ’s victory is not one by “might or power but by My Spirit.” Just as the magi were led to Christ through the living word , so we should be led by the word of God to the living Christ, reigning in heavenly places.
