Book Summary:

Nahum begins by pronouncing that God is a jealous God. Indeed He is jealous for us, for the best for us. He will use whatever means to persuade us to choose to come to Him, to come into the arms of His love. Nahum describes Jesus as a stronghold in the day of trouble – we just have to come to Him to find rest for our souls, for His yoke is easy and His burden light. This is what Jesus offers, He offers rest in times of trouble , for He will become our rest because He lives in us – “to live is Christ.”
