Thematic Bible: Of God, the supreme rule of duty

Thematic Bible

And he said unto them, When you pray, say, Our Father who is in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth.

He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, your will be done.

But bade them farewell, saying, I must by all means keep this feast that comes in Jerusalem: but I will return again unto you, if God wills. And he sailed from Ephesus.

For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

For I will not see you now in passing; but I trust to tarry awhile with you, if the Lord permits.

For I came down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of him that sent me. And this is the Father's will who has sent me, that of all that he has given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of him that sent me, that everyone who sees the Son, and believes on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord wills, and will know, not the speech of them who are puffed up, but the power.
