So the woman took the child and nursed him. After the child had grown older, she brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses, because she said, "I drew him out of the water."

When he was placed outside, Pharaoh's daughter adopted him and brought him up as her own son.
By faith Moses, when he had grown up, refused to be called a son of Pharaoh's daughter,
