And among those that came up to worship at the feast there were certain Greeks: that came to Philip who was of Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, saying, Sir, we have a desire to see Jesus. And Philip cometh and telleth Andrew, and then Andrew and Philip told Jesus.


Philip saith unto Him, Lord, shew us the Father, and it sufficeth us. Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long with you, and dost thou not know me? Philip, he that hath seen me, hath seen the Father: and how then dost thou say, Shew us the Father? Dost thou not believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? as to the words which I speak to you, I speak them not of my self; and the Father who abideth in me, doth the works. read more.
Believe me therefore that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: at lest, believe me for the very works. Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I perform he also shall perform, and greater than these shall he do: because I am going to the Father. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, I will do it: that the Father may be glorified in the Son.


Philip meeting Nathaniel, saith unto him, We have found Him, of whom Moses in the law, and of whom the prophets also wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Jeseph. And Nathaniel said unto him, Can any thing good come out of Nazareth? Philip replied, Come and see. And when Jesus saw Nathaniel coming towards Him, He saith concerning him, "Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile." read more.
Nathaniel saith unto Him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered him, Before Philip called thee, I saw thee, when under the fig-tree. Nathaniel replied, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the king of Israel. Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I told thee that I saw thee under the fig-tree, thou believest: thou shalt see greater things than these.


Then Jesus lifted up his eyes, and seeing a great multitude come to Him, saith to Philip, Whence shall we buy bread that these people may eat? (and this He said to try him, for He knew what He was going to do:) Philip answered Him, Two hundred penny-worth of bread is not sufficient for them, that every one may take a little.


The day following Jesus had a mind to go out into Galilee, and meeting with Philip, saith unto him, Follow me.
