Parsimony (stinginess) » Of the disciples, when the ointment was poured upon jesus
And [when] the disciples saw [it] they were indignant, saying, "{Why} this waste? For this could have been sold for a large sum and given to the poor!"
But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples (the one who was going to betray him) said, "{Why} was this ointment not sold for three hundred denarii and given to the poor?"

'Because my house [is] desolate and you [are] running each to your own house! Therefore, because of you [the] heavens have withheld [the] dew and the earth has withheld its produce. I have called for a drought on the land and the hills, on the grain, the new wine, the olive oil, on what the soil produces, on human beings and wild animals, and on {all their labor}.'"
