With which the reaper fills not his hand; nor he that binds sheaves his bosom.

For, behold, we were binding sheaves in the field, and, lo, my sheaf arose, and also stood upright; and, behold, your sheaves stood round about, and bowed down to my sheaf.


Then said he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few;


And it shall be as when the reaper gathers the grain, and reaps the ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathers ears in the valley of Rephaim.




And Boaz said unto her, At mealtime come here, and eat of the bread, and dip your morsel in the vinegar. And she sat beside the reapers: and he passed to her parched grain, and she did eat, and was satisfied, and left.


Say not, There are yet four months, and then comes harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.


And, behold, Boaz came from Bethlehem, and said unto the reapers, The LORD be with you. And they answered him, The LORD bless you.

Then said Boaz unto his servant that was set over the reapers, Whose young woman is this? And the servant that was set over the reapers answered and said, It is the Moabite young woman that came back with Naomi out of the country of Moab:
