Hear my prayer, O Jehovah, and give ear to my cry. Do not be silent at my tears; for I am a stranger with You, a pilgrim, as all my fathers were.


I am a stranger in the earth; do not hide Your Commandments from me.




If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple. And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me, he cannot be My disciple.

And He said to him, "Go out from your land and from your kindred, and come into a land which I shall show you."
