Adjudication at law » To be avoided
[Like] the release of water [is] the beginning of strife; before it breaks out, stop the quarrel.
[It is] honorable for the man to refrain from strife, but every fool will be quick to quarrel.
do not hastily bring out to court, for what will you do at its end, when your neighbor puts you to shame? Argue your argument with your neighbor [himself], the secret of another do not disclose, lest he who hears shame you and your ill repute will not end.
{Settle the case quickly with your accuser} while you are with him on the way, lest your accuser hand you over to the judge, and the judge to the officer, and you be thrown into prison.

Remind [people] of these [things], solemnly urging [them] before the Lord not to dispute about words. [This is] in no way beneficial [and leads to] the ruin of the hearers.
